Lego minifig scale custom made Arcade games
Lego minifig scale custom made Arcade games by lights
When I was a kid I loved going to the video arcade, I literally spent hours playing and must have spent a few thousand in these coin slots, I guess its only fair that the minifigs of Legoland get to enjoy arcade games as well, and these minifig scale custom arcade games are pretty cool, each one is different and as you can see the colours of each lego custom arcade machine are different from each machine to each machine, just as they would be in real life, better yet, just at the end is one of those arcade games where you have the hammer and the bell, well this one is minifig scale. what would be really nice is if 1. there were some minifigs in there, and 2. there was a Lego minifig scale arcade game of sniperscope, complete with brickarms custom minifig sniper rifle.
Lego To Start Making Board Games
Lego To Start Making Board Games by `Dano
Theres’ been a bit of a rumor going round that Lego intends on expanding from Bricks and minifigs to making actual board games, as if Lego video games wasn’t enough, apparently “LEGO Games will launch in August 2009 with 8 games across a range of price points”, so from looking at this image, it looks like 2009 (august if you must know) will see the arrival of Lego board games, complete with mini-minifigs as you can see here.

It’s quite interesting being new to lego minifig customization at how real life inspired MOCs, its really nice to see how the nintendo has made into Lego history, I guess the point is that these real life imventions can make their way into the minifig world and enhance the lives of minifigs as well, making vignettes and scene more interesting, and adding a little more puzzle for minifig fans as they try to figure out how best to represent these on a Lego scale.
Lego Universe
From Contagious 2008 –
Set for a 2009 release, LEGO Universe is another new MMOG. Developed by NetDevil to be a seamless
adaptation of the LEGO philosophy, the concept behind the subscription-based LEGO Universe is simple – if you can imagine it, then you can build it. The traditional play experience will transfer online, requiring a creative and collaborative approach to accomplish ingame goals. Contagious 17 contains a case study on LEGO.
You can find the site here. From What I can tell its going to be a secondlife style game for Lego minifig fans.
One that is particularly relevent for custom minifig fans will be the feature that allows you to customize your own custom minifig. Taken from the Lego site:
Design your own minifigure – Upon landing in LEGO Universe, you’ll choose from hundreds of options to customize your tiny in-game characters.Â
Additionally you can play games, interact with others and build items and the game features an overarching epic storyline about the origins of LEGO Universe and the minifigures that inhabit it. In the story of LEGO Universe, the minifigures can team up to quest together. If the teams are successful, they’ll uncover new game zones featuring original characters, more building opportunities, and undiscovered creative challenges!
