here’s a close up of an all black custom minifig equipped with Hazels custom GOW minifig weapons, this photo really shows the level of detail hazel has gone to in the now infamous saw gun. This photo also gives you a good idea of scale of these custom minifig weapons, in relation to an actual minifig.

here we have two of the box of items I ordered off Hazel, i have to say the finish is supurb, I mean these aren’t even toys, you’re looking at display only items here, the quality is beyond Brickarms, and each one is hand painted, it’s only when you hold one that you actually see how well finished these custom minifig parts are.

Hazel, one of the greatest custom minifig makers has just launched a whole load of custom minifig weapons, designed and compression molded, this is brilliant you can’t fault Hazel on his design or quality of finish because these are simply flawless.

After check Hazel’s Flickr page I found that he has now released several new items, Including a unique helmet, a highly detailed Lego sniper rifle, and in the last photo (the weapon on the left) what appears to be a bull pup designed minfig weapon. I’ve still been unable tomake contact with Hazel, but have been trying, so if any ofyou have had previous dealings with Hazel, please get in touch!

AMazing Armory Custom – Hazel’s custom minifigs

One of the Most elusive custom minifig modders I’ve come across is Hazel, I can’t seem to find much on they guy, other that some of the most incredible and detailed custom minifigs I’ve ever come across, it seems that Hazel is based out of south east asia, in Hong Kong and/or Japan, and with classic asian skill in detail the figures that really made an impact on the custom minifig community were Hazel’s gears of war custom minifigs, Hazel was associated with Amazing Armoury and most of Hazel’s custom minifigs are shown with the tag – ‘custom by Hazel’

Hazel usually goes by Hazel – Fantasy and his works include MOCs, custom minfigs and custom minifig parts and weapons. His work has also been featured in Dengeki Brick magazine in 2008 (issue 12).

The custom parts by Hazel seem to be made in small custom runs and are probably highly sought after collectibles.

I’m trying to get in touch with Hazel to do an interview and also to buy some of his work, so if any of you have every dealt with Hazel, please do get in touch!
