A bit of a spoiler, but here are the suposed photos of the 2009 releases from lego, no doubt there’ll be some brilliant minifigs, and I personally don’t care what Lego release, just what I can use to make custom minifigs with!
I found these from Dano’s profile.
(SteamPack custom minifig by v&a steamworks)
Whilst the minifig here isn’t totally custom our unique, what i really like is the custom minifig scale jetpack, which was designed on one of the more popular Lego customization themes its unique in that it converts modern inventions into a amercian victorian inventor, steam-esque look. It works really well in that Lego has made parts for both space and technology as well as western-esq, victorian-esq, this basically means thatyou can make all sorts of custom minifigs along this theme and have some real fun!
(lego custom minifig captain america by marvel man 810)
I really like how detailed this custom minifig is, particularly the face of the custom minifig, it’s almost too detailed, but, just about works, the decals look like they were really well applied too. And this custom minifig would look great in a vignette!
(custom lego wood zabuza sword by defender91)
This custom Lego minifig scale sword (yes it is minifig scale) was made out of walnut wood, and is really well shaped, i think it would be better if it was plastic moulded but hey ho, I’m sure some one will try, regardless, its nice to see new and custom pieces turning up. 😀
(Lego virtual Hellraiser Pinhead custom minifig by Coby)
I really Like this custom minifig, the pinhead head and decal is brilliant, just a real shame that its a virtual custom minifig, it would really great as a halloween promotional series from Lego, it would be even better for a custom minifig vignette. The cube (I forget what its called) is pretty cool too, but i reckon that would be better as a custom moulded piece.
