(custom minifigs by tigerggyy)
Stickfas mak custom minifigs, not Lego scale minifigs, but about 5/6inches tall, they are non-descript which makes them great for customizing, interestingly however, the hands of a stickfas are the same as Lego minifigs, which means that the stickfas accessories can be used with Lego minifigs. And they look great particularly the mortar in the vignette above.
(alien custom minifig by jasbrick)
This is jasbricks latest creation, its an Alien custom minifig, or it could be some sort of space suit minifig but I’m not sure, there’s a lot of custom work done to this minifig, but personally its not my cup of tea, Jasbricks brickviet, and corporation custom minifigs are better in my opinion, but I can repect this minifig for its innovation and creativity, particularly the helmet and mask.
(Lego custom minifig work bench by hinckley39)
This charming Lego minifig scale workbench has loads of standard minifig accessories, and its these minifig accessories that help define this as a work bench and what kind of work beck, it certainly wouldn’t look out of place in a Lego car workshop vignette.
(Lego French soldier custom minifigs by woody64)
Woody64 got in touch to tell me about his cool project he had going creating custom minifig head gear and accessories via a third party production site, you can check out his store here. The designs are brilliant and really detailed and scaled perfectly for lego minifigs so brilliant for customization, but I can’t tell from the site what the finished results look like close up certainly from the photos, they look like they are made out of some sort of foam rather than a solid plastic. Still if you’re planning on creating an army of nepolionic custom minifig troops, theres no better place to look.
I’ve got a new project aside from my Lego British Army custom minifig chess set, I’ve seen this image around (see below) quite a few times, and I’d love to to create a custom Lego minfig of it, so this weekend i’m out to get some greenstuff and milliput and start creating a custom minifig Jin-Roh or Helghast troops, these guys are awesome, and I reckon with some brick arms custom minifig accessories and a few sluban minifig helmets I’ll be able to pull off a few of thes, I’ll probably use blank black minifigs for this one and get some fabric parts too.
Interestingly there is a Kubrick Jin-Roh, which I’m hoping to get my hands on for this as well, I’m sure there’ll be a few ideas that will transfer accross to a custom Lego minifig.
