These LEGO Elysium Custom Minifigures are inspired by the 2013 science fiction action-thriller Elysium which takes place on both a ravaged Earth and a luxurious space habitat called Elysium. It features Matt Damon as Max Da Costa (Left) a former car thief and Sharlto Copley as a vicious mercenary called Kruger (Right).
The detail on these Brick Affliction armours are excellent and the painted red really stands-out. Hand sculpted the detail on the arms and chest is mind blowing, and these armours can be used for any sci-fi theme.
Both minifigures have a weapon each and the custom rifle looks very nice.
Corporal Damon Baird was a Gear soldier who was an expert in several technical and mechanical fields. He is an expert in collecting and analyzing Locust guns, other equipment, artifacts and documents.
This Judgment Baird custom minifigure uses an armour from Brick Affliction which is highly detailed. Everytime we see a new armour we are amazed at all the minute details of these minifigures which are painstakingly hand sculpted.
Stand-out features include the goggles and knee pads and the yellow painted detailing along with the contasting blue really pop out.
If you are a serious LEGO painter then we reccomend these armours by Brick Affliction as the results are truly amazing!
This Max DeCosta 3rd Generation Exo Suit Custom Minifigure is a personal project by Pescovam so won’t appear as a final product by Brick Affliction. Unfortunately the suit cannot be removed nor the pieces molded. The detail on the exoskeleton is fantastic.
At the moment this minifigure is a WIP(work in progress) although he has finished sculpting he has yet to paint Max’s tattoos, exo-suit, and blood detail along with the AK, Chemrail, and shotgun.
We can’t wait to see the finished custom minifigure!
These Halo 4 Green vs Blue Custom Minifigures look amazing and use the Brick Affliction Halo Spartan Warrior armour. They also include several custom elements such as ball jointed arms, sculpted and painted groin protectors, and painted BrickArms Prototypes.
The detail is fantastic on such a small minifigure and as ever the painting is at a very high level! So who would win?
If you like blood splattered scenes, then this Onyx Guard Battle Scene is just for you! Featuring the custom painted Brick Affliction Onyx Guard Set, Brick Affliction Locust Set, custom painted miniature base, and custom Painted Brick Affliction Lancer, Retro Lancer, and modded GOW Knee Pads.
These minifigures have an amazing amount of sculptured detailing on them, and the helmets look fantastic, then everything is painstakingly hand painted. So how long do you think it would take to complete this scene? In terms of hours, its hard to say, as you have to paint all the base colours first then let them dry overnight. Pecovamo then washes the piece and gives it a couple of hours to dry, then he layers the colours giving each one time to dry before adding the fine detailing, battle damage, and blood splatter effects.
This piece was painted using Citadel paints as the base, layers, and washes has a way of coming together to make the finished piece look amazing. If you find the paints a bit too expensive they are best used when mixed with water which stretches their life out.
So I wonder how much something last this would cost to buy?
