Evolutionary Step custom minifigs by rongYIREN
these are brilliant custom minifigs, totally made from scratch with standard Lego parts, they posses a real Spore-esque look the colour combination is really cool as well, it would be great to see a whole tribe of these custom minifigs.

painted BDU custom minifig soldier by The Ranger of Awesomeness
I like the camo pattern painted on this custom minifig, but i think it would have been better done as a decal rather than with paint, the main reason i say this is because when you look at the details painted on they aren’t very straight, on a decal you’d be able to add this in and make sure it all site correctly before apply it to the custom minifig

My custom minifigs by timeforacatnap
so finally, i’ve got ound to doing two things, 1. testing out the new camera i got over christmas, and 2. actually making and taking some photos of my custom minfigs, about time too considering how much I’ve been blogging on custom minifig about everyone elses minfigs.
from left to right:
Hero Nakamura (heroes), HALO Para jumber, House MD, Russian Spetznatz, British Para trooper.
these minifigs are made from true Lego parts with the beret being a sluban piece, and the weapons being from brick arms. so, what do you think of my first attept and creating my own custom minifigs?

(Lego Digital Sir Alan Sugar custom minifig by unkown)
Whilst this is only a digital render, i thought it would be really cool to see a real, actual custom minifig of Sir Alan Sugar complete with massive CEO chair and even a Lego custom bentley, now that would be cool to see rocking around Lego city! Cooler still it would be great to see custom minifigs of all the members of Parliament, though I don’t think if i made those custom minifigs they would last very long, especially the Gordon Brown one, I’d let the cat and dogs have that custom minifig as soon as I’ve made it.

Thunderball James Bond custom minifig by Shmails
A really nice decal and a smart selection of Lego minifigs, add a Lego spear gun and a Lego head and what you have is a transformation of a standard Lego minifig into James Bond from Thunderball.

Goldfinger and Oddjob custom minifigs from Goldfinger by Shmails
Here we have two James bond villains from Shmails ( i think his a little obsessed!), whilst Goldfinger isn’t very custom aside from a decal, the OddJob custom minifig a great looking bowler hat which was the defining unique characteristic.

Domino Derval custom minifig from Thunderball by Shmails
Its rare to see a female Lego minifig, let alone one thats custom or one that’s a Bond girl custom minifig, here we have Domino Derval from Thunderball, portrayed as a custom minifig, the main custom part is the decal, and some times thats all you need, especially if its a bikini!

(Lego minifig firing range by Phillip Block)
I really like this vignette of a custom made Lego minifig firing range, is brilliant particularly the minifig targets, better still on the wall you can see a range of brick arms custom weapons, it would be really cool if this were part of a larger set or scene, with either minifig police or soldiers, that would really make this vignette and the minifig targets stand out.

Left 4 Dead custom minifig Zombie fighters by »kile«
I really like these minifigs, in particular the painted shirt and tie on the minifig on the left, i think is really cool and has a very animation style to it, however i don’t think they really work as zombie killers, for one they are a bit lacking in brickarms custom minifig weapons, but thats not the point, its jsut that these minifigs don’t look like they are about to kill zombies.

Custom minifig by corran101
I’ve actually been planning a House custom minifig myself, just waiting for the Lego parts, but I was always stumpt about what hair to use, this version however really got the hair right, which is really nice, House’s signature cane is custom made, and the minifig scale syringe is from Brick Arms, i reckon what would make this custom minifig better would be a white board, with the term “lupus” on it…can you tell I’m a fan of house?

Custom minifig by Labao13
I really like this custom minifig, though I doubt the media will take much of a liking to a Lego gangbanger. The decal is a sticker which is a shame and the weapons are from Brickarms but the rest of the minifig is Lego.

Custom minifig by hallofbricks
Patton was one of the greatest US army generals, this minifig mimics the opening scene to the film about the general of the same name, The torso decal is custom made and the helmet is from BrickArms, and I have to admit despite the minifig torso decal being a sticker, if it was a decently applied waterslide decal it would be even better!
