Look at all these custom minifigs made of offical lego parts, this shows how much fun you can have with the new space police three minifigs. My favorite must be the punisher, now you can make a punisher minifig with offical lego parts, lovely! The yellow minifig in the background is photoshopped, just so you know.
Now here’s a great lego animation, and I think Ken will like this (he loves paratroopers) it’s a animation about a paratrooper in ww2, it could be better but right now this is the best you can find on the web. The main reason this was intresting is the elite forces in the end, notice the very detailed berets, would love to see one of those become real ABS products. Here is the link to the youtube video if you want to watch it there.
Another great figure by Vid’, no decals this time but that’s not the intresting on this figure. This shows that you can make a very nice fig by using elements from different themes, the armor and helmet is from castle and torso and legs from sci fi, and you have a nice fig, very original. And of course, brickarms weapons, look at that gunblade, that is a girl you don’t mess wiht.
A very inpressive pic of a bunch of custom minifigs, all by one man, this must have taken ages. This is a good idea, take 18 of the new power miners minifigures, paint them , add some custom accesories and you have your own little custom army. This is only a WIP, they will probaly have a bunch of weapons in the finish, it’s only 75% now, can’t wait to see 100%.
Like the use of the visor on the minifigs helmet and check out the modified weapon, really cool! I think the minifigs torso is custom, but i’m not totally sure, pretty cool it would be nice to see more of these custom minifigs in a vignette
WOW, so Looks like Will collection of minifigs is pretty massive to say the least (he must have baught every last Dino attack torso left!) this photo was taken at the 2008 BrickCon in Seattle, and its pretty impressive id you consider just how many minifigs there are there.
I really like this concept, basically the tent is made up of fabric Lego parts stretched on a Lego frame, and it works brilliantly well, it just looks so good!
I really like the colour choice and minifig parts combination that makes these custom minifigs, notice that the visor is from the Ice planet Lego sets and was painted to fit the light brown colour of the minifigs, the torso part is the all popular Dino attack theme, which is perfect for any military themed custom minifigs.
A really nice setup, notice how the minifig is kneeling, also notice how the blast of the bullet have been made. Interestingly the ammo belt is really cool: Certain zip-ties fit perfectly into the recieving end of Lego bricks, so painting them gold makes them look like ammo belts.
I like the camo pattern painted on this custom minifig, but i think it would have been better done as a decal rather than with paint, the main reason i say this is because when you look at the details painted on they aren’t very straight, on a decal you’d be able to add this in and make sure it all site correctly before apply it to the custom minifig
This black and white photo of this WWII US Paratrooper custom minifig reminds me of Band of brothers, it almost makes that theme song play in the back of my head, suffice to say, this is a really cool minifig, the part i like best is the custom helmet, with the para goggles glued on.
I really like the visor on this custom minifig which as altered to accommodate a groove in the visor, also, you’ll notice the custom brickarms rifles which have been modified, whilst the silver paint is really stong, this still makes an excellent space, sci-fi themed custom minifig.
so finally, i’ve got ound to doing two things, 1. testing out the new camera i got over christmas, and 2. actually making and taking some photos of my custom minfigs, about time too considering how much I’ve been blogging on custom minifig about everyone elses minfigs.
from left to right:
Hero Nakamura (heroes), HALO Para jumber, House MD, Russian Spetznatz, British Para trooper.
these minifigs are made from true Lego parts with the beret being a sluban piece, and the weapons being from brick arms. so, what do you think of my first attept and creating my own custom minifigs?
I really like this vignette of a custom made Lego minifig firing range, is brilliant particularly the minifig targets, better still on the wall you can see a range of brick arms custom weapons, it would be really cool if this were part of a larger set or scene, with either minifig police or soldiers, that would really make this vignette and the minifig targets stand out.
