The LEGO Series collectors among you will instantly recognise the bodywear of these Shadow Squadron Custom Minifigures as the Minifigures Series 7 Galaxy Patrol minifigure. With their heavy-duty space armour and helmet-mounted tactical computers, they have got the gear to always get the mission done.

The helmets and bodywear have been painted Matt Black and I prefer them to the original blue. The Shadow Squadron Exterminator on the left looks excellent along with the Shadow Squadron Tech Specialist on the right.

Painting them different colours is a great way of updating your custom minifigure armies.

Here at Custom Minifig we are a great fan of JasBrick’s work as he is able to create fantastic custom minifigures that look like they could be original releases. The key to success is choosing the right combination of LEGO parts and keeping it simple.

Inspired by the new Snow White and the Huntsman movie, this Huntsman minifigure played by Chris Hemsworth, who also plays Thor (the face piece on this minifigure) is nicely done and the tomahawk’s look great.

With everyone looking forward to the official release of The Lord of the Rings LEGO sets in the UK, Jasbrick has put together an awesome army using a combination of custom pieces and minifigures he has bought from Bricklink and other places.
