Now here’s a great lego animation, and I think Ken will like this (he loves paratroopers) it’s a animation about a paratrooper in ww2, it could be better but right now this is the best you can find on the web. The main reason this was intresting is the elite forces in the end, notice the very detailed berets, would love to see one of those become real ABS products. Here is the link to the youtube video if you want to watch it there.
This is very nice done, take a normal printed lego element and the make a nive decal, it looks nice wiht the printed details and makes it very clean. Also notice the custom axe, very clever if you ask me.
LOL, a Viking age DJ complete with turntables speakers and graffiti-ed podium, really cool, love the massive speakers and the interesting use of standard lego pieces to make something custom and unique, the minifig however isn’t that unusual, but it does fit in with the scene.
Like the use of the visor on the minifigs helmet and check out the modified weapon, really cool! I think the minifigs torso is custom, but i’m not totally sure, pretty cool it would be nice to see more of these custom minifigs in a vignette
these are brilliant custom minifigs, totally made from scratch with standard Lego parts, they posses a real Spore-esque look the colour combination is really cool as well, it would be great to see a whole tribe of these custom minifigs.
A really nice setup, notice how the minifig is kneeling, also notice how the blast of the bullet have been made. Interestingly the ammo belt is really cool: Certain zip-ties fit perfectly into the recieving end of Lego bricks, so painting them gold makes them look like ammo belts.
This black and white photo of this WWII US Paratrooper custom minifig reminds me of Band of brothers, it almost makes that theme song play in the back of my head, suffice to say, this is a really cool minifig, the part i like best is the custom helmet, with the para goggles glued on.
League of Extraordinary Minifigs Luke Steamwalker custom minifig by JasBrick
A rather interesting interpretation by Jasbrick of Luke Skywalker in Lego. the monocle which is fast becoming Jasbricks signature is really ornate and looks great, the modified brickarms rifle looks like a harpoon gun of some sort, and naturally a Luke Skywalker Legocustom minifig needs a lightsaber and here you see a standard Lego light saber, and thats fine, if that was customized, it would have been overkill.
This minifig valkrie looks the business, its interesting to see how the chest armour has been made and the viking helmet really seals the deal in making this minifig look like an opera singer.
The League of Extraordinary Minifigs Prof M and Randall custom minifigs by JasBrick
Jasbrick is starting to get on my nerves, His minifigs keep getting better and better and more and more outlandish, I guess all the coverage he’s getting on custom minifig is spuring him on! and go for it, i say, these two minifigs are awesome, check out the custom goggles, and pistol sword, and look at the knife cane, brilliant!
I really like these two Legocustom minifig saints, it looks like the Lego Life buoys have been used to make halos which is really origian, additionally there is some good use of fabric parts and the key and sword are both standard Lego, but I;m guessing they’ve been painted gold, I think these two custom minifig saints are part of a vignette, and the setting and build of the walls and plinths these minifigs stand on is really good as well, inspires me to want to make something similar.
This is a platoon of the Union Irish Brigade from the northern states in the american civil war. whats really nice about them are the bearded minifigs, brick arms weapons and above all else the really unique over coats which really help give these minifigs character. The Great Coat and belt were all custom-made by MCCB: Custom Minifig Cloth Accessories.
Patton was one of the greatest US army generals, this minifig mimics the opening scene to the film about the general of the same name, The torso decal is custom made and the helmet is from BrickArms, and I have to admit despite the minifig torso decal being a sticker, if it was a decently applied waterslide decal it would be even better!
I really like this custom minifig, especially as it’s in situ, an action shot if you like of a WWI soldier shaving in the filed. You’ll notice the Lego Indiana Jones legs, and the Lego indiana Jones German soldier torso. Ironic considering this is a British soldier minifig, but hey, it works, so its cool.
