Victor from eclipseGrafx has hand painted this Black Suit Iron Man Custom Minifigure. The gold on the helmet, torso, arms and legs is Citadel gold paint, however a general complaint of the paint is it seems very runny and hard to manage, and takes several coats to cover. The knee guards and arm guards are glued into place, as Victor didn’t want them moving around and scratching the paint work. The painted armour looks very nice!

Geoshift recommends when painting gold to undercoat the area in black first (primer or paint), however you still may need multiple coats.

This excellent Black Suit Iron Man is a one off custom and will be available to buy online at eclipseGrafx later today!

Emerald eclipseGrafx Custom Minifigure

Emerald eclipseGrafx Custom Minifigure

This Emerald eclipseGrafx Custom Minifigure or better known as Rogue in the X-Men is one of the most popular characters. She has the mutant ability to absorb the memories, knowledge, and physical abilities of anyone she comes in contact with. Unable to control her powers Rogue turns to the X-men and Professor X for help.

Emerald has 360 degree pad printed on her torso, legs and waist. Pad printing is the same technique that LEGO use, so the quality is amazing. Her printed costume is inspired by the comic books rather than the film trilogy and looks really good. She also comes with a custom fitted flight jacket that matches with her pad printed arms.

Emerald is the fourth member of the team and third to be custom printed by eclipseGrafx. The other two are Laserbeam and Tempest. If you have never bought a minifigure by eclipseGrafx then we recommend you do so as the quality is amazing.

eclipseGrafx German Custom Minifigures

eclipseGrafx have decided to make some new colour choices on their German Custom Minifigures, although the colours are not accurate to the real uniforms, having different options is a great idea!. We think the white and grey torsos look very good.

On Flickr (link below image) eclipseGrafx are asking how many of you would like to see these colours made available? Other options could be Olive Green or Sand Blue.

If you like these German Custom Minifigures be sure to make a comment here or on Flickr and I will pass them onto eclipseGrafx.

EclipseGrafx Clone Recon Commando Parts

A couple of weeks ago Victor from EclipseGrafx mentioned he was going to start a line of LEGO compatible Star Wars Torso’s and Legs that you could mix and match to make a complete minifigure.

The Clone Recon Commando is a sneak peak of what you can expect, and EclipseGrafx are planning on releasing several different versions and colour markings.

The printing on both the legs and torso is high quality and the black pouches on the back of the torso look great. The helmets and guns are by Clone Army Customs.

This is a great way of building a Clone Army cheaply as you cab just buy the pieces you need separately.

You will be able to buy these online at eclipseGrafx.

Reconnaissance Custom Minifigure

This Reconnaissance Custom Minifigure uses some very nice BrickAffliction pieces and its nice to see Victor painting again! The detailing is awesome and excellently painted. The hands do rotate independently from the arms and the cap and goggles look amazing.

This minifigure is not top heavy. Victor only added more details to the legs since he had the parts but with plain combat legs it still looked like a complete figure.

Finally the gun is a Modern Warfare Advanced Assault Rifle AAR by CombatBrick.
