BrickArms Overmolded StG44

BrickArms are taking LEGO compatible weapon making to the next level by overmolding the stock and handle in different colours. This StG44 looks amazing, however the process of making these is very time consuming to produce, with a defect rate higher than normal.

The mould is designed so that two colours can be injected one after the other. The plastic shrinks, so the entire gun would not fit into the second cavity. So you only include enough detail to “register” the gun to inject the grip and butt stock around. Since nothing is overmolded on the front of the gun, there is no need to cut a detailed cavity for it to sit into. This process saves lots of machine time.

BrickArms M4 Upgrade

The great thing about third party compatible LEGO vendors is that you can buy different pieces and they all fit together with a bit of skill, and glue of course. Here we see a modified BrickArms M4 carbine, which out of interest is currently in use by US troops, and shorter and lighter than the M16A2 assault rifle.
This weapon has been modified with a pull out green magazine and cut out working iron sights from Tiny Tactical. The result looks really good and looks great with this custom minifigure.

BrickArms Bren Light Machine Gun

The Bren Gun, was a series of light machine guns adopted by Britain in the 1930s and used in various roles until 1991. While best known for its role in World War II, it was also used in the Korean War
This BrickArms Bren Light Machine Gun has been excellently painted with a grey worn look with nice shading and brown stock and grips.
Very nice!

BrickArms Crates

BrickArms have just released some fantastic storage crates which will look great in MOC’s(My Oown Creations) The Rancor from Star Wars kindly volunteered to test them out to see if all the BrickArms guns and ammunition would fit. Everything fit except the M21 where the barrel sticks out tiny bit.

Available in 4 different colours, the lid fits snugly, and the crates stack nicely onto one another. The lid is the dimensions of a 2×6 tile, and completely hollow underneath.
These crates will be available online from your official BrickArms reseller.
