what a wonderful and impressive way to present the lego minifig collectors series 1, each one of the lego minifig collectors series 1 minifigs has been endearingly encased in its own mini MOC scene based on the characters. i particularly like the surfer singer an skier.

this really isn’t my favorite custom minifig, but its still a custom minifig, and we have to appreciate the creativity and the idea behind this custom minifig, the shield for example is brilliant and given the right skill or expertise it would look more impressive, but here, we get what FB was trying to achieve and that should be commended.

ok ok, the minifig isn’t exactly custom, its a smart combination of lego minifig parts, but you’ll notice the gangsterized thompson, including drum magazine and fore grip…now thats cool.

UNITED ARMORY -NEW (ABS) STOCK ITEMS by PEDRO-79

some of the hazel, amazing armory items have now finally made it out in ABS, which is a good thing, though its also a bad thing, if you’re planning to cut and glue or even paint ABS, its a lot more unforgiving that resin, regardless, as afar as keeping up with the jones or making the fit more with lego its a good thing, though muffling creativity in my mind will always be a bad thing, i personally really like working with resin.

Jasbrick finally shows his mastership by JasBrick

its about time, but jasbrick a long standing fan and master at custom minifigs, has finally featured his work at the great western lego show, one of the few we get over here in the UK, Jasbricks work has been criticised by the UK lego community in the past, and I’m glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves.

ARES: Engineering Cops by Geoshift

i was in two minds about putting this in, but i figured it was worth it. first the vest on the left is from brickforge, so its a custom minifig piece, next they have been dry brushed silver so paint was used. but the most striking and coolest part are the little orange bead which really draw the eye in and make these otherwise bland minifigs stand out.

no minifigs in this lego moc, but i had to share it, note ow the helecopter rotors have been made, its really impressive.
