personally i’ve never had any real need for chrome parts such as the chrome brickarms, and as these spray painted results show, really, its not that big a deal, these spary painted parts look equally as good as the chrome parts sold.

as part of the extention of the original star wars film a whole range of comics and other fan based material were produced, then lego launched lego starwars, and jasbrick became an AFOL, then jasbrick found custom minifigs, and found a photo of storm trooper X a rogue storm trooper from the starwars world, and here we have the custom minifig of storm trooperX, now, the thing about this is, the torso, is actually a sandperson torso from the starwars set, so the bandolier decal is the real lego one, and all the other details are painted, its not until you look up close that you’ll see that its hand painted detail

Brickarms and brickforge both produce great custom weapons for lego minifigs, but you have to admit they lack detail, but thats great for playing with and toying around with. But if what you’re looking for is a one-of-a-kind, display, then you really have to opt for Hazels guns, there’s simply no one else making custom minifig parts as detailed as these. sure you can argue brickarms/forge are cheaper. but they are designed on a computer hence their simplicity, and thats great for what they do, which is make weapons for lego men to play with. but what you have in hazels accessories are hand designed works of art, these are highly collectible and intricately detailed lego minifig weapons that you really would be hardpressed to compare with. They aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a hardened custom minifig fan, these are worth it.
